There is a bright sunshine outside. The weather at last seems to grace the summers. Today I do not have any classes, but then this weekend I have another WAC. This time around, it is for Managing Strategic Innovation – an elective that I have thoroughly enjoyed this term. The simulations involved in this elective are a great learning experience. Also at the end of this month, I have my entrepreneurship exams.

In the recent past, I have enjoyed reading a lot of literature about entrepreneurship. However, I am keener to know more about ‘intrapreneurship’. Intrapreneurship is very crucial for the success of any organisation. Any company need people who can come up with bright brilliant and innovative idea. The word intrapreneurship was first coined by Burgelman in his thesis and later Gifford Pinchot wrote a book "Intrapreneuring". Since then not a lot has been written on this topic. I guess managing strategic innovation has a firm root in intrapreneurship. I will definitely be interested to do some additional research on this topic.
