Received a call in the office today.

Caller: Is this XYZ company (the name of our competitor)?

Me: Sorry, I think you called the wrong number.

Caller: Oh, then can you tell me how much is it to join their roadshow?

Duh!

Me: Sorry, I wouldn"t know as we are not of the same company.

Caller: Then do you know how I can contact XYZ company?

Look up the phone book, for goodness sake!

Me: I"m sorry but I don"t have the number.

Caller: How about the number of ABC company (another competitor)?

Really feel like strangling her through the phone right now! I"m imagining coiling the phone cord round her neck.... Too bad I"m using cordless phone.

Me: I"m sorry but we are not the same company and I don"t have the number.

Caller: Ok, bye!

Argh!

Why should I upgrade to Internet Explorer 7? Microsoft has redesigned Internet Explorer from the ground up, with better security, new capabilities, and a whole new interface. Many changes resulted from the feedback of millions of users who tested prerelease versions of the new browser. The most compelling reason to upgrade is the improved security. The Internet of today is not the Internet of five years ago. There are dangers that simply didn't exist back in 2001, when Internet Explorer 6 was released to the world. Internet Explorer 7 makes surfing the web fundamentally safer by offering greater protection against viruses, spyware, and other online risks.
