About the Book Club

Some love it. Some hate it. Even in our digital age, however, most will agree that staying current on the latest books and ideas cannot stop upon graduation if continued success is the ultimate goal. The MBA Association's Book Club helps to make the experience just a little more enjoyable by breaking-up the readings with Skype-based discussion forums where we can learn from one another through the analysis of what we read.

How to Get Involved

Simple. Just pick-up our latest book selection or suggest a book that we should read next. We make our selection at the start of each month and meet once each week to review one-quarter (yes, that's roughly 25%) of the book.

It's About the Discussion, not the Reading

We all have busy lives that don't always permit the time to read each week; don't worry, it's not homework. Call-in for the discussion if you have the time and listen to what others think and share your own thoughts on the subject. The books we choose are intended to stimulate discussion on topics important in business today. More than likely, you already have an opinion on the subject so don't hesitate to share it with others and give us the opportunity to learn from you!

When, Where, How?

Check the Reading List section of the Book Club to learn what we're all reading today and take a moment to suggest a reading for next month. We count on members like you to learn of what new masterworks are hitting bookshelves so please don't keep those great books a secret!

Visit the Events section for the schedule of our upcoming book club Skypecasts and any information that you may need on how to connect, for free, with up to 100 other people from around the globe.

I have found no greater satisfaction than achieving success through honest dealing and strict adherence to the view that, for you to gain, those you deal with should gain as well. - Alan Greenspan

Your current web browser must be updated to version 7 of Internet Explorer (IE7) to take advantage of all of template's capabilities.

Why should I upgrade to Internet Explorer 7? Microsoft has redesigned Internet Explorer from the ground up, with better security, new capabilities, and a whole new interface. Many changes resulted from the feedback of millions of users who tested prerelease versions of the new browser. The most compelling reason to upgrade is the improved security. The Internet of today is not the Internet of five years ago. There are dangers that simply didn't exist back in 2001, when Internet Explorer 6 was released to the world. Internet Explorer 7 makes surfing the web fundamentally safer by offering greater protection against viruses, spyware, and other online risks.
