The long awaited admit finaly shows up from Darden. Darden is the most researched, most networked among the schools I considered. My essays, I thought, were not strong enough to reinforce the image I developed with the school based on my efforts since I had 3 days after returning from China to complete Darden. However, on reading them yesterday, I found out that they turned out pretty good and address my fit with Darden and why Darden really well.

In a flash my thoughts have shifted to dreaming about what i want to do and how i want to fully utilize the best 2 years of my life. I have made a two page list of things I want to cover over the next 4 months, setting myself up for the MBA. Probably because the applicaiton and waiting process was filled with so much anxiety that my mind wanted to shift away to somehting different asap!! Yes, I am sure I will make the MBA the two best years of my life. Finally, i am yet to hear about my Wharton WL and Harvard R2. We"ll see how they go.

Some good things about Darden: I like the case menthod - Most of what i learnt in my job has been through interactions and observations. I definitely adore Dean Bruner. He exemplifies leadership and I am looking forward to leadership training at Darden, more than just the management education (this came out clearly in my essays). I love the Darden alumni... I will be honored to be one of them, but I understand the responsibilities that come with it. Finally, I believe a small school is easier for me to stand out and be heard...

So Darden, here I come.
Cheers!

Why should I upgrade to Internet Explorer 7? Microsoft has redesigned Internet Explorer from the ground up, with better security, new capabilities, and a whole new interface. Many changes resulted from the feedback of millions of users who tested prerelease versions of the new browser. The most compelling reason to upgrade is the improved security. The Internet of today is not the Internet of five years ago. There are dangers that simply didn't exist back in 2001, when Internet Explorer 6 was released to the world. Internet Explorer 7 makes surfing the web fundamentally safer by offering greater protection against viruses, spyware, and other online risks.
